Meet Emily
Today we’re sharing Emily’s story,
in August 2024, just after her 3rd birthday, Emily was diagnosed with high risk stage 4 neuroblastoma. She underwent 18 months of gruelling treatment including chemotherapy, surgery, stem cell transplant, radiotherapy and immunotherapy, spending time (sometimes months) in ST George’s, the Marsden, UCLH and Epsom. She has 2 older siblings, Arthur (8) and Elizabeth (6), Emily has completed her High dose chemotherapy and is moving on to oral chemo. During her battle the family have been restricted with what Emily has been able to do.
At Holly’s Heroes, we believe every child deserves moments that are about joy, not treatment. We’re so honoured to be helping create a magical weekend involving everyone’s favourite ‘Peppa Pig’
