14 year old Oscar was diagnosed with leukaemia in August last year.
When we asked Oscar what he would like, his answer was simple, “a fun day out with his friends”.
So that’s exactly what we’ve arranged.
Oscar and three of his friends will be heading to Gravity Max in Wandsworth, where they’ll enjoy a VR experience, take on some of the fantastic activities and finish the day with dinner together.
Sometimes the most important thing isn’t a big adventure or a once in a lifetime experience.
Sometimes it’s simply giving a teenager the chance to do what teenagers should be doing, spending time with friends, having fun and making memories.
These moments of normality mean the world to the families we support and we’re delighted to be able to make this happen for Oscar.
