Maia was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in July 2024.
When Holly’s Heroes approached us, our first thought was to ask for a trip to Peppa Pig World, as Peppa is one of Maia’s favourite characters. We were amazed when the charity generously offered us not just one day, but two days at the park.
Maia had the most incredible time, and we made so many precious memories together as a family. We even discovered her love of rollercoasters! Being able to spend two carefree days together, just the three of us, away from the worries and challenges of treatment, was truly special.
We are incredibly grateful to Holly’s Heroes for giving us such a wonderful experience. The joy and happiness they brought to our family is something we will never forget. What an amazing charity!
