11-year-old Phoebie has a genetic condition called MEN Type 2B, a rare disorder that has led to her being diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
Despite the challenges she faces, Phoebie remains incredibly positive and is a huge fan of Gladiators. Her greatest wish was to meet the Gladiators in person and watch an episode being filmed.
Thanks to the kindness and support of our wonderful patron Paul Gibbs, along with Shaun Wallace and Bradley Walsh, we were able to make that dream come true. We arranged for Phoebie and her family to travel to Sheffield, where she enjoyed an unforgettable experience meeting her heroes on the set of Gladiators and spending the night in a hotel.
It was a truly special moment for Phoebie, creating memories that will stay with her and her family forever, and reminding us all of the power of kindness in making a child’s wish become a reality.
