Safari Fun for Amelia

Meet 12-year-old Amelia.

Amelia has brain cancer, and alongside everything that comes with her diagnosis, we wanted to give her and her Dad something wonderful to look forward to.

Holly’s Heroes arranged an overnight stay at Longleat, an unforgettable VIP Jeep Safari and spending money for their trip.

It wasn’t about cancer. It was about Amelia being Amelia. Having an adventure with her Dad, laughing, enjoying themselves and making memories together.

Amelia’s Dad Conal said the below

Me and my daughter Amelia were lucky enough to be referred to Hollys Heroes a few months back.

Amelia was diagnosed with brain cancer in Sept 2025. Whilst she is still in treatment ( 1 more round to go) we finally felt in a place where we could do something that doesnt involve treatment or restrictions.

We were given an overnight stay at Longleat Safari park but also 2 hour taxi ride as i dont drive.

We both had just the best time. We stayed in a cottage on site and was provided a full breakfast along with a very generous donation of spending money. They honestly couldnt of done anymore if they tried.

We had a ViP safari tour which Amelia loved. She added to her already huge collection of toy animals aswell.

None of this would have been possible without Emma who truly went above and beyond. It was an experience neither of us will forget in this lifetime.

Thank you guys so much for everything you have done for us.

Every donation, fundraiser and person who supports Holly’s Heroes helps us create moments like these for families affected by childhood cancer.

Because childhood cancer takes enough. We want to help give something back
